CLOSETS ARE MEANT FOR HIDING STUFF, RIGHT?

I'm getting ready to paint my bedroom because I'm redecorating it, remember? Yesterday, I took "crap" off the walls & plant shelves. Ya know, old dusty, ugly silk flower arrangements (seriously, what was I thinking when I bought those??), outdated pictures--don't worry, not family pictures--I would NEVER hang family pictures on my bedroom wall because I just KNOW they're looking at BIG old me in my "nothings." (I do have a few family pictures, but they're kind of old so they don't count and they're on shelves not facing any "important places.") Anyway, this afternoon after I get home from babysitting, I'm GOING TO tackle cleaning out my closet. Now you're asking yourself, "Why does she have to clean out her closet when she's painting the room? No one paints their closet! What a nut!" Oh, I know...there are many reasons...first of all, whenever I open the closet door, I get knocked over with all of the "stuff" falling out of it. Then, of course there's the fact that you have to paint the little part that wraps around from the wall so you HAVE TO open the closet doors to paint there AND LEAVE THEM open till it dries. And last but not least, Shannon, my cool, wonderful daughter-in-law has so kindly offered to help me paint. There is NO way she's seeing inside that closet! Who would help me paint if she opens it & all the crap falls out, bonks her on the head, & she has to go to the hospital?
